Volunteer

The Blind Center ia always in need of assistance, whether it be monetary assistance or volunteer time. We need the help of individuals, community groups, foundations, and corporations. Please help make a major difference in the life of a visually impaired person.
Some of the ways in which you can help include:

• Gift Baskets - The Blind Center assembles Gourmet Gift Baskets uniquely created with a personal touch for many occasions. You can help by purchasing gift baskets from The Blind Center for your clients, neighbors, friends, and family.


• Annual Fundraisers - Throughout the year The Blind Center holds several different fundraisers such as our annual Bar-B-Que/Auction, Golf Tournament, and Holiday Bazaar. You can help by participating in one or more of our fundraisers.


• Private Fundraisers - To benefit The Blind Center and its members, you can get involved by arranging your own fundraiser through your place of work, club, organization, school, or place of worship.


• Partnerships - Through our Reflections of Light Partnership Program, businesses, individuals, and families can make annual donations to enable us to continue and expand our programs and services.


• Donations - The Blind Center is a 501(c)(3) organization allowing your donation to be tax deductable. Create a legacy by naming The Blind Center as a beneficiary in your planned giving. You can make a bequest to The Blind Center through your will, life insurance policy, gift annuity, or trust. Make a gift by donating stock or you can help by making individual donations throughout the year.


• Volunteers - The Blind Center relies on volunteers to provide many of our services and to assist in the implementation of our programs. You can help by giving the greatest gift of all, your gift of time.
